Cape Cod Archaeology and Other Cultural Resources
This collection contains information about projects, documents, images, and other data related to the archaeological and other cultural resources of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. In particular these relate to what is known as the "outer Cape," that is from the vicinity of Chatham, Orleans, and Eastham north the the Provincelands. Much of the archaeological work covered here is from investigations done by or for the Cape Cod National Seashore; however, information from other investigations also is included. Some of the studies focus on historic structures, cultural landscapes, and other aspects of the cultural heritage of the Cape. The historic time period, as well as ancient times are covered by the range of documents and data included.
