Summary

INTRODUCTION

Eight samples from Feature 3, a privy pit at the Copperton Townsite,

48CR1210, were analyzed for macrofloral remains. The townsite is situated in the

Sierra Madre Mountains of southern Wyoming. The town was occupied from

approximately 1910 to 1916 and functioned as a supply center for local mines.

Macrofloral analysis is used as evidence of historical diet.
