Summary

Stratigraphic pollen are! phytolith samples were analyzed to interpret

palecoivironmental conditions at 48NA1086. Two ooctpatianal components were

noted, although radiocarbon ages (1740 and 2520 BP) were reported only for the

upper component. All features were noted within this upper component. Eleven

pollen samples were examined from a living surface, designated floor, arei

features associated with Component 2. This analysis focused on interpretation

of evidence for subsistence.
