Summary

Pollen and macrofloral samples were collected from pithouse, hearth trash

midden, and roasting pit fill at sites AR: 03:09:03:270 and AR: 03:09:03 -276 in the Prescott National Forest, central Arizona. Ceramic artifacts suggest that both

sites are affiliated with the "Prescott Tradition". Pollen and macrofloral

analyses are used to address prehistoric subsistence activities at these sites.
