Summary

Two bilge samples from an eighteenth century English shipwreck off the

coast of Bermuda were submitted for pollen and macrofloral analysis. Analyses

concentrated on identifying remains present for the purpose of substantiating an

English origin of this vessel and the presence of coal residue.
