Summary

Sites 48CK1409, 48CK1416, and 48CK1417 were examined as part of the Wyoming

Department of Transportation Hulett-Aladdin Road Project in Cook County, Wyoming. Pollen

samples were collected stratigraphically from sites 48CK1409 and 48CK1416 to provide a pollen

record of past vegetation and an assessment of paleoenvironmental conditions. A partially lined

basin (Feature 6) from site 48CK1409 and a large mano from 48CK1417 were examined for

pollen to provide subsistence data.
