Summary
Three pollen/starch samples and a small amount of charred com cob were examined from
the "vermilion vista" site (42Ka4896), located approximately 15 miles east of Kanab, Utah. The
three pollen/starch samples represent floors of slab-lined storage bins used during the
Basketmaker III and Pueblo I and were examined to shed light on plants that might have been
stored in these bins.
