Summary

Five samples from the fill of two roasting pits at the Mega site, AZ 88:9:375 (ASM), in Pima

County, Arizona, were examined for macrofloral remains. The two roasting pits are visible on the

site surface, which is covered with a light scatter of ceramic and lithic artifacts. Macrofloral analysis

is used to provide information on use of plant resources by the site occupants, in order to help

address research questions concerning social and economic organization.
