Summary

On February 20, 1976, the Museum of Northern Arizona, at the request of the Salt River Project, conducted an archaeological survey of a proposed access road right-of-way, an observation well and a production well in the Concho Well Field, five miles north of Concho, Arizona. During the survey, one archaeological site was encountered in the proposed access road right-of-way. On March 7, 1976, the site was collected and recorded. This action constitutes mitigation of adverse effects for this site and archaeological clearance is therefore recommended for the proposed access and observation and production well.
