Summary

Results of archaeological monitoring for subsurface construction activities associated with Phase I Underground Utilities Installation at Bellows Air Force Station, O'ahu Island, Hawai'i. I Nine sets of human remains were encountered during monitoring. The locations of the remains are designated Features 81-89. Features 83 and B7 were encountered within trench corridors and as a result were inadvertently exposed during construction excavation. These remains were nearly complete burials. The other remains consisted of isolated and disarticulated bones exposed at the periphery of the trench cut.
