Summary

On June 14-16, 1991 Archaeological research of Southern Nevada (ARSN) conducted a cultural resource inventory on BLM lands in the Eldorado Valley, Clark County, Nevada (Map 1) . The purpose of the survey was to inventory a right-of-way for Mead-Phoenix 500 kV corridor proposed by Salt River Project of Phoenix, Arizona. The line is on the west side of already existing power lines that dissect the Eldorado Valley. The project area is approximately 14 miles long and is contained within a 200 foot (61 m) wide right-of-way. In all, the survey covered a total of 339 acres of land.
