Summary

The Department of the Army has determined that continued operation, maintenance and development activities at Fort Sam Houston and at its Camp Bullis subinstallation will have an effect upon historic properties included in or eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places. The Army has consulted with the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation and the Texas State Historic Preservation Officer, the San Antonio Conservation Society, the Society for the Preservation of Historic Fort Sam Houston, and the City of San Antonio. These mentioned parties have agreed to amend the Programmatic Agreement that was executed on August 28, 1996.
