Summary

The Advisory Council on Historic Preservation forwarded to the Texas Historical Commission and State Historic Preservation Office a draft copy of the revised Programmatic Agreement for Fort Sam Houston. While the Commission agrees that it is necessary to eliminate references to the National Conservation District in favor of clarification of NHL district boundaries, this letter offers some recommendations on the wording of these stipulations.

Carbon copied to this correspondence is Mike Hilger and Joan Gaither (Society for the Preservation of Fort Sam Houston), Inell Schooler (San Antonio Conservation Society), and Pat Osborne (City of San Antonio).
