Summary

The following report contains the final report from the archaeological investigations at the Naval Electronic Systems Engineering Activity Facility located in St. Mary's, Maryland. An intensive surface reconnaissance of the 5-acre parcel resulted in the identification of four components within the previously recorded Puma Site (18ST334). This site had a prehistoric component ranging from the Late Archaic to Early Woodland periods and a smaller colonial era component. All recovered artifacts and documents are located at the Maryland Archaeological Conservation Lab in St. Leonard, Maryland. For further information, contact the Federal Curator.
