The Solar Array Test Building (Building No. 60540), constructed in 1966, is considered a contributing resource to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)-owned CCAFS Industrial Area Historic District, which is eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places under Criterion A, in the area of Space Exploration, and under Criterion C, in the area of Architecture.
