Summary

This report presents the results of an archaeological survey of 402 acres northeast of Magma, Arizona in Pinal County (Figure 1). SWCA Environmental Consultants (SWCA) was requested to conduct this archaeological survey in support of a 404 permit application, p1ior to a proposed residential development.

The survey documented 21 isolated occurrences (IOs), consisting of both prehistoric and historic artifacts. Since no significant cultural resources were identified, no further archaeological work is recommended for this parcel. However, if previously undocumented buried cultural resources should be encountered, all ground disturbing activities should stop immediately until a professional archaeologist can evaluate the materials.
