A cultural resources inventory is required under 36 CFR § 800 (as revised in 2004), the regulations implementing Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. SRP requested that Logan Simpson conduct a cultural resources inventory of PWCC Mine Areas J-19, J-21, and N-11 Extension South and record any cultural resources encountered to current standards and prepare National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) recommendations for each site. Logan Simpson was also tasked with evaluating the NRHP of six sites recently recorded in the mine areas.
