Summary

Between 9 and 20 October 2019, archaeologists with Versar, Inc. conducted NRHP evaluations at 12 sites on HAFB, in Otero County, New Mexico. For 11 of the 12 sites, the locations were verified, assemblages were documented, and contextual integrity evaluated. The remaining site (LA 111244/HAR 223) could not be relocated despite extensive efforts to do so. Of the evaluated sites, only one (LA 111632/HAR 216) is recommended as eligible for inclusion in the NRHP. The remaining sites did not retain adequate integrity to be considered eligible under any of the criteria outlined in 36 CFR § 60.4.
