Summary

This document is a letter from the California State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) to the Keeper of the National Register regarding the San Antonio Terrace Archaeological District. The letter conveys that the Department of the Air Force, in consultation with the SHPO, revised and expanded the documentation that had been submitted for the original determination of eligibility of National Register eligibility for the MX Missile Project. The letter states that SHPO had recommended to the Air Force that it consider the feasibility of an archaeological district for the San Antonio Terrace area. The letter states that the draft document submitted to the Keeper was reviewed by SHPO staff and its input has been included. Based on this information the Air Force and SHPO have determined that the San Antonio Terrace Archaeological District is eligible for inclusion in the National Register under Criteria A and B.
