Slipped white, effigy foot (fragmentary), Accession AZRU-00001, Catalog #641, Morris FS 4621. Analyzed by Lori Reed 2006. Temper is medium quartz sand. Paste looks like local high silt clay; probably a locally made item. Foot represents probably less than 5% of original effigy. Image AZRU1-641 A: side view of effigy foot. Image AZRU1-641 B: anterior or front view of foot showing shape of toes or claws. Recovered from Earl Morris excavation of Kiva R, Aztec West Ruin. No published description of Kiva R available.
