Continued correspondence concerning roof and ceiling repair for Building 1676 at Lackland Air Force Base. This letter serves as comment on the proposed undertaking from the State Historic Preservation Officer, the Executive Director of the Texas Historical Commission. The letter concludes that the review staff, led by Pam Opiela, has completed its review of the project documentation provided. The proposed work will have no adverse effect on the historic building.

The Puerta del Sol (Gateway of the Sun) is a large stone monolith at the archaeological site Tiwanaku in Bolivia. The gateway is believed to have been used to mark calendrical cycles. The sponsor for this blueprint is the Office of the Post Quartermaster at Fort Sam Houston, Texas under the supervision of Harold Spigelmyre.
