A thorough review of the proposal for the construction of an ADA ramp at Hangar 72 was completed. The construction will have a “no adverse effect” on the historic significance of the building if it is a non-conspicuous addition. To insure the Secretary of the Interior’s guidelines are met, Randolph Air Force Base requests that CEV provide a construction drawing of the proposed project. It is also suggested that the community planner be given the opportunity to comment.

Coordination with the SHPO and the ACHP was completed on the replacement of barrel tile roofing. US Tile’s “El Camino Blend” shall be used for the attached roofing projects. A project to change the existing clay tile on the NCO Duplex units to either met-tile or standing seam would be determined to have an Adverse Effect on the historic units and the historic district.
