EXAMINATION OF BULK SOIL AND DETRITAL CHARCOAL FROM FAULT TRENCHES AT WHITES CREEK AND CARSON CITY, NEVADA (1999)
DOCUMENT Full-Text Kathryn Puseman.

Four bulk soil samples from Nevada were floated to recover organic fragments suitable for radiocarbon dating. Two samples were taken from a fault trench at Whites Creek in the Carson Range, and two samples were recovered from a fault trench on the southeast side of C Hill in Carson City. Botanic components and detrital charcoal were identified, and potentially radiocarbon datable material was separated.
