A survey and excavation project directed by Keith Kintigh and executed from 1983 through 1994. Approximate 58km2 were surveyed and 560 sites were recorded. St. Inigoes Manor, as the settlement was known historically, was in Jesuit hands by 1637. St. Inigoes served as their mission’s headquarters and home plantation throughout the 17th century.
