I am a mexican archaeologist interested in learning how cities shaped in the past. I explore distribution of architecture, landscape y more importantly movement infrastructure (roads) that allowed people to travel around during their daily life activities. I use digital technologies and traditional fieldwork to understand movement and space. I have mainly worked in western Mexico, although I have also centered my professional life on cultural heritage and engagement with the public (indigenous and not) in several settings in Europe, Mesoamerica, and USA.
