The Aspen Picnic Site (89K/EeMa-2) is a multi-component Woodland site with three to four stratified occupations. It is situated along the north shore of Clear Lake in Riding Mountain National Park, Manitoba, Canada where it was identified in 1971 and tested in 1972. Artifacts and features were exposed during additional testing as part of an impact assessment along with mitigation based excavations in 2013 (Donalee Deck, personal communication February 4, 2014).
