Pollen samples were collected at 5 cm intervals through sediment that filled Feature 37, a roasting pit, at the Sand Draw Dump Site (48FR3123). This close interval sampling and analysis was undertaken to examine the pollen record through probable cultural fill and also probable post-occupational fill in an effort to define the appropriate cultural signal and assist future sampling of roasting pits and/or deep pits.

Pollen, macrofloral, and charcoal samples were examined from sites 48FR5305 and 48FR5343 near Riverton, Wyoming. These sites were identified as a result of the Tom Brown, Inc. Rock Ridge #6-24 construction project in Fremont County, Wyoming.
