This report provides a partial inventory of cultural resources on the Fort Richardson Installation. It also presents the result of a probabilistic survey which presents data suitable for predicting the likelihood of finding cultural resources in various sectors of the post. This cultural resource and probability analysis report includes the addition of all cultural resource sites added to the Alaska Heritage Resources Survey (AHRS) and all cultural resource surveys conducted on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) and reported on between October 2011 and March 2015. It also includes updated prehistorical and historical contexts. Updates have been made to Sections 1.0, 1.2.3, 1.2.4, 2.0, 3.1, 3.2, 4.0, 5.0, and Appendix A.

This document details the history of relative seas level changes and earthquake deformation cycles in Cook Inlet, Alaska. Multiple peat-silt couplets preserved in tidal marsh sediment sequences suggest that numerous great plate boundary earthquakes caused the coast around Cook Inlet, Alaska, to subside over the past 3500 years.
