Site B1, 36WH1729 is an Early and Middle Woodland site located on a first order terrace bench overlooking an unnamed tributary of Chartiers Creek, Washington County, Pennsylvania. This portion of the Ohio River drainage occupies the Appalachian Plateau physiographic province and includes narrow hilltops and steep-sloped, narrow valleys.
