CA-SHA-1991 (the Tanya Site) is located along Olney Creek in the Sacramento Valley of Shasta County, California. The local environment is primarily oak woodland interspersed with areas of manzanita chaparral. This site is believed to be a late prehistoric period occupation associated with the Wintu tribe.
