POLLEN ANALYSIS AT THE UNCAS SITE (1984)

Five pollen samples were collected in association with House 3 at the Uncas Site (34Ka-172). The Uncas Site is located on the shores of Kaw Lake to the northeast of Ponca City in Kay County, Oklahoma. This house yielded radiocarbon ages suggesting that occupation occured between 510 + 50 BP and 410 ± 50 BP.
