Samples from 2000 and 2001 excavations at the Backhoe Village, site 42SV662, in central Utah were examined for pollen, phytoliths, and/or macrofloral remains. Individual charcoal samples were identified prior to submission for radiocarbon analysis. This site is a Fremont habitation site with radiocarbon dates suggesting early to late Fremont associations.
