Four pollen samples were analyzed from 5DT271, a multicomponent site located on the North Fork near Paonia, Colorado. This site is located in colluvium, which appears to represent displaced Pleistocene glacial deposits (Baker, personal communication, February 1987). The site exhibits three archaeological components, which have yielded radiocarbon ages of AD 1910, AD 750, and AD 10.
