Pollen, macrofloral, and protein residue samples were examined from site 42WN2489, located in the upper Fremont River Valley in Wayne County, Utah. The prehistoric component of the site consists of three distinct clusters of cultural material. The site is associated with Archaic Pinto Series projectile points, which generally date to 8300-6200 BP in stratified cave contexts in Utah.
