Pollen, macrofloral, and/or charcoal samples were examined from twelve sites in the Escalante Basin of south-central Utah. The samples are from excavations carried out by Brigham Young University in 2001, 2002, and 2003. These sites represent Formative occupations of the area, with both Fremont and Kayenta Anasazi adaptations present. Charcoal samples were identified prior to submission for radiocarbon dating.
