Six pollen samples, collected from three archaeological sites, were examined to provide information concerning possible processing activities associated with the use of the pits represented. All three sites are located in the area surrounding Clark Wash near Glade Park in Mesa County, Colorado. Radiocarbon ages place occupation of these sites within the past approximately 1700 years, with the most recent age being approximately 150 BP.
