Fifteen manos and metates from the Talega Site (CA-ORA-907) were submitted for pollen or phytolith analysis. This multi-occupation, habitation site yielded radiocarbon ages that ranged in age from 500 to at least 9,620 BP, while dates from the third pedostratigraphic unit ranged from cal BP 4370-3800.
