Combined pollen and phytolith samples were examined from three features at 32MO1374 and 32MO1375, located in Morton County, North Dakota. Site 32MO1374 is located on the bank of Otter Creek, while site 32MO1375 lies on the terrace above the creek. Pollen and phytoliths were examined to provide information concerning vegetation at the time of occupation and also identify plants processed in these features.

Five companion pollen and phytolith samples were examined from site 32MO390. This Plains Village site is situated on the floodplain of Otter Creek less than 0.5 miles west of the Missouri River Valley. It might be affiliated with nearby sites 32MO40 and 32MO41. Conventional radiocarbon ages between 930 ± 40 BP and 340 ± 40 BP anchor the occupation.
