Samples were collected and examined from multiple prehistoric sites in the Ashley National Forest of northwestern Utah, including site 42DA145, three rock shelter sites (42DA836, 42DC1211, and 42DC316) and the Clegg Vessel site. All of the sites have been associated with the Fremont culture.
