Site 41MV145 is located approximately six miles east of the Rio-Grande near the western edge of Maverick County in south Texas. The Archaic site was originally recorded as a light surface scatter of burned rock and lithic debris. Subsequent subsurface reconnaissance was conducted, revealing cultural materials to a maximum depth of 70 cmbs, with the densest artifact concentration in the upper 30 cm.
