Site 42DA747/AS-736 is located on a forest road in the Flaming Gorge District, on the northern slope of the Uinta mountains in Daggett County, Utah. The site originally was discovered in 1995 and has been revisited by Forest Service Heritage staff in 2008, 2011, and 2012. A modern two-track forest road cuts through this site, exposing artifacts, ashy soil and charcoal.
