Archaeological monitoring of engineering evaluation/cost analysis (EE/CA) investigation of multiple dump sites DP06 at Bellows Air Force Station revealed a deeply buried wetland sediment suited for cultivation of taro. However, analyses of macro botanical remains and soil chemistry provided no direct evidence of taro or other cultivation. No historic sites were identified during the monitoring.
