The city of Phoenix proposes to install a 25 million gallons per day (MGD) sewer lift station, gravity sewer routes, and a water line in Maricopa County, Arizona. A gravity sewer will be constructed along Southern Avenue. This sewer will terminate at a proposed 25 million gallons per day (MGD) permanent lift station. Tolleson Union High School District plans to construct a high school on the west side of 67th Avenue between Lower Buckeye Road and Broadway Road. As part of the construction project, the road will be widened in front of the new school, which will necessitate that a segment of a historic open lateral be piped underground. ADM Group Inc., the project architects, requested that Logan Simpson Design Inc. prepare a report documenting the history of the lateral.
