Between 18 March and 12 April 1997, archaeologi­cal fieldwork was conducted at two sites in the Con­gress Street to Twenty-ninth Street segment of the Arizona Department of Transportation's Interstate 10 Corridor Improvement Project in Tucson, Arizona. Both sites are buried in the eastern Holocene terrace of the Santa Cruz River, directly opposite A-Mountain.
