Archaeological testing was conducted by SWCA, Inc. in an agricultural field near in Laveen, Arizona at the request of Sunny Mesa, Inc. Testing was conducted because there is a known prehistoric site and prehistoric canal in the vicinity of the project area. Previous archaeological research in the area had recorded site AZ T:12:19 (ASU) and Canal Three.
