PHYTOLITH AND STARCH ANALYSIS OF TWO DENTAL CALCULUS SAMPLES FROM MORRO DO OURO, SOUTHERN BRAZIL (2022)
Human teeth were discovered at the Morro do Ouro archaeological site in southern Brazil during excavation and radiocarbon dated to ca. 4500 cal BP. Calculus samples extracted from these teeth were submitted to PaleoResearch Institute for phytolith and starch analysis.
