SRP requested that Logan Simpson conduct a Class 111 cultural resources inventory of 1,946 acres within Mine Areas J-19, J-21, and N-11 Extension South in Peabody Western Coal Company's, Kayenta Mine Complex (KMC). This is part of a larger environmental impact study (EIS) for the continued operation of the Navajo Generating Station (NGS) and the KMC from December 23, 2019 to December 22, 2044.
