This is an abstract from the session entitled "Community Centered Archaeology in Colorful Colorado", at the 2025 annual meeting of the Society for Historical Archaeology. Denver’s Black American West Museum spent four decades documenting and acquiring northeastern Colorado’s early 20th century African American town of Dearfield.
