For each site there is a State of Texas archaeological site data form, site map, charts for surface artifacts and shovel tests, and a number of site photographs. All of the forms verify the survey being conducted by the Center for Archaeological Research, The University of Texas at San Antonio, and project funding provided by the U.S. Air Force through the National Park Service.

Thirteen former Weapon Storage Areas (WSAs) were built between 1948 and 1956 for the storage, maintenance, and operational read iness of the nuclear weapon stockpile. The former WSAs were operated under joint Atomic Energy Commission (AEC) and Department of Defense agreements. Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) had technical responsibility for the AEC weapons and their nuclear components. Burial 46SU3 was an eroding burial at the Baker's Bottomsite excavated on March 13, 1989 by Robert Maslowski. The skeletal material was washed and sent to the WVU School of Medicine for analysis.
