New Jersey State Museum Archaeological Site Registration document for a Prehistoric era transient camp site located in TAC 1A, Dix area. Documentation includes field reconnaissance, systematic survey, and site evaluation information. Site 28BU537 (Dix XII/Saylor’s Pond B) is evaluated as eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. Includes site form updates from a 2003 identification survey information (Kise Straw & Kolodner, Inc.) and a 2017 evaluation investigation (Versar, Inc.).

Testing Results and a Proposed Treatment Plan for Further Work on the Thompson Draw FLEX Project in Tonto National Forest, Gila County, Arizona (2001)
Test excavations were conducted at six sites to determine their National Register eligibility, prior to a land exchange. Three of the sites, AR-03-12-04-1397/AZ 0:12:81 (ASM), AR-03 -12-04-1403/AZ 0:12:82 (ASM), and AR-03-12-04-1521/AZ 0:12:85 (ASM), demonstrated low overall artifact density, small site size and an absence of subsurface features, and are therefore recommended as ineligible for National Register consideration.
